About the Invitation
The Africa Academy of Management (AFAM) is seeking proposals from African institutions to host either the 9th Biennial Conference (January 2028) or the 10th Biennial Conference (January 2030). In the spirit of promoting regional rotation, we prioritise submissions from regions yet to host for the first time.
Date: January 2030
Eligible: All Africa-based institutions
Open to all African institutions. AFAM will prioritise regions that have yet to host a conference, advancing our continental rotation commitment.
Pan-Africa Open
Eligible Regions
All Africa-based institutions are welcome to submit proposals. AFAM is committed to regional rotation — we especially encourage first-time regions to apply. Your institution could make history by hosting AFAM’s milestone 10th conference.
How to Apply
A complete proposal package must include all three components below, submitted together to both Co-Chairs before the deadline.
Evaluation Process
All proposals will be evaluated on a competitive basis by the Executive Committee of AFAM. Selection criteria include institutional capacity, regional representation, and the quality of the proposed conference experience.
For details on requirements, the MoU template, and full bid evaluation criteria, contact either of the conference Co-Chairs directly.
Email your complete proposal package to both Co-Chairs simultaneously with the subject line: “Application to Host AFAM Biennial Conference”
